Statement

Greetings CI Students!

We are very excited to announce that we are running for Student Government President and Vice President for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year. We both are currently third year students here at CI, and we have learned a lot about the campus through our work in Student Government and other areas. Student Government especially has presented us with the opportunity to meet several amazing students, faculty, and staff. Thanks to these experiences, we have truly come to grasp the meaning behind “We Are CI.” Through our work on campus we have realized the importance of effective communication, listening, and organization. Our experience, in combination with our passion to serve our fellow students, is the main drive for us to run in this election. If elected to serve in these roles, we will continue to listen to the needs of students and represent them and their best interests in order to evoke positive change in the CI community.

Sincerely,

Michelle Noyes, Student Government Presidential Candidate

Marlene Pelayo, Student Government Vice Presidential Candidate
